Lǎobānzhāng 老班章 is one of the most famous areas for the production of pu'er tea thanks to the richness in Ancient Tea Trees of a typically bitter flavor, with the sweetest aftertaste and a strong cháqì 茶气, the feeling of warmth that fills the whole body after sipping the golden liquor.

It is a blend between big trees and ancient trees: the century-old tea trees that nourished these leaves give them a delicate taste of aging, with complex notes of tobacco and leather, sweetened by a mellow aftertaste of jujubes. This Shengpu was prized with the gold award at the 2007 China International Tea Industry Expo in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan.

The high quality of this area gained it the title of King of Pu'er: with a decise and strong character, bitter at the first sip and sweet in the aftertaste, Laobanzhang is one of the most complex teas, and releases a full range of flavors at each infusion. Tg village.
