Harvested in March 2024 after a very dry season, the leaves of this Sheng Pu'er tea reveal all the fine elegance of the ancient trees of Lunan mountain. Rooted on this terroir for over three hundred years, these trees give us a very balanced shengpu, where the botanical part is met by a sweet and refreshing aftertaste.

A sugary sweetness emerges mainly in the aftertaste, following a green botanical bouquet and a thick mature taste as we sip the first brew. We are then left with a mouthwatering feeling and an inviting aftertaste enveloping our palate, persistent and calling for more tea.

The lack of rainfall always tests the ability of our tea master and especially his shaqing skills, as a lower degree of internal moisture in the leaf may lead to burned spots. The softness of the very first brews proves that these precious leaves weren't harmed by the scorching coal fire of the wok, and the familiar vegetal taste assures that natural fermentation will further stimulate their complexity in future years.

Our tea production

This tea comes from the tea forest we own in Yunnan, in Nannuo and Lunan/Pasha mountain.
We take care of each leg of the production: from the care of the under-forest until package and distribution.

Generations of masters

Our production is entirely supervised by Yan Kunli, that was born and raised on Nannuo mountain, and in 2007 won the Pu'er Shengpu producer competition for the highest Shaqing skills, among all the Hani minority in Yunnan. He is the master in his craft, and we are proud to have him with us.
