This Chinese tangerine is a tiny treasure of a beautiful round shape, filled with the precious leaves of 2023 wild forest Nannuo shupu from our production. This smaller version - called xiǎoqīnggān 小青柑 in Chinese - comes from the first harvest, when tangerines are smaller and fresher, and their skin has delicate light-green hues. They are the highest quality, as their aroma is never as strong as to cover that of tea, and their peel is so soft that only the most skilled tea masters are able to empty them of their sweet fruit and fill them with the right amount of tea leaves.

The flavor of tangerine and that of tea mingle in a unique, sweet and fragrant infusion that releases all the heat of summer sun, and all the freshness of the first autumn winds. The liquor is rich crimson with a tint of bright gold as the leaves undergo multiple infusions, while the great persistency of the aroma lingers in the palate.

The tangerines can be purchased in practical boxes, each containing 10 pieces.

EASTERN BREWING
Quantity: 1 full ganpucha for each teapot
Rinse: before starting the infusion, rinse the stuffed tangerine with a very fast washing in order to let it rehydrate and release a more intense brew. Gently cover it with boiling water and pour it after a few seconds.
Brewing time: Begin with a 20-second brew. Increase with each successive brew as needed.
Water temperature: 100°C
Number of brews: 10-15

WESTERN BREWING
Quantity: 1 ganpucha each 500 ml of water
Brewing time: 5 minutes
Water temperature: 100°C

COLD BREW
Quantity: 1 ganpucha each 500 ml of water
Brewing time: put the ganpucha in room temperature water and steep for 6-7 hours. Filter the liquor and drink within 24 hours.
